skyblock bedrock

I feel like there needs to be more to the Skyblock lobby. Something that allows you to interact and compete with other players. Instead of just enchanting or repairing something. Maybe like a trading system or a leaderboard for things done on your island.

Recently i just lost all my stuff while joining skyblock, before that, i'm trying to max out my Shovel level, and when i enter the portal to go back to overworld, i got kicked out and got send back to the Main Lobby, i'm trying to rejoining but failed, something like error message just appear...

So, I noticed that when I was doing the Level 18 Leather Generator quest, the quest bar wasn't going up when I began to upgrade the spawner. Will I still complete the quest once I upgrade it to 18 even if the percentage is staying at 0%? Because if not, I don't want to waste my time and coins.
