What if you made it so that when there is less than two weeks left and someone would say something, it adds 1 week more before it gets locked? Of course if there were more than two weeks left, it would get bumped up to maximum 3 weeks and nothing more. That way one comment won't really restart the three weeks but rather extend the time
And this dear staff team, is why the thread needs to be implemented

Remove SBMM as soon as possible. This isn’t Skill-Based Matchmaking anymore—it’s Hack-Based Matchmaking. I’m getting matched with hackers more often, and it’s just not fun.
