🏷️1. Introduction

The current state of BedWars can often feel repetitive, and there is a lack of long-term progression for players. To keep the community engaged, I propose a major update titled "The Evolution Update." This includes unique challenges, new game modes, and a complete overhaul of the Shop UI to drastically improve playability.

💡2. New Game Modes

BedWars Mega (10v10v10v10) A large-scale battle between 4 teams. Coordination and teamwork on a grand scale are key to victory.
Duels (1v1) A fast-paced 1v1 mode. Perfect for players who want to test their pure combat skills in short matches.

[Limited Time Mode] Bed Thief (3v3v3v3) A special rule where instead of breaking beds, you must "steal" the enemy's bed and bring it back to your base.
Click here for details-> https://www.cubecraft.net/threads/bedwars-ltm-bed-thief.398381/

🗺️3. New Maps

Map Expansion Introduction of multiple well-balanced new maps that maintain the classic BedWars feel while offering fresh visual and strategic experiences.
(Example A map with different elevations to make use of ladders.

🪜4. New Items (Vanilla Based)

Potion of Swiftness Enhances mobility for both aggressive pushes and tactical retreats.

Potion of Leaping Allows players to jump over obstacles and launch surprise attacks from high ground.

Ladders A low-cost tool for quick vertical movement and creating new infiltration routes into enemy bases.

🪤5. New Upgrades & Traps

Revamped Iron Ages Changing the current system to "Haste (Efficiency)." This increases the speed of breaking blocks.

Slowness Trap Applies a "Slowness" debuff to enemies who enter your base, giving defenders a significant advantage.

🪄6. Challenges

Quest System Implementation of Dailiy and Weekly quests. Completing these will grant XP and exclusive cosmetics, providing players with a continuous reason to play.

🔧7. Shop UI Improvements & Customization

UI Type Selection Allows players to freeliy choose their preferred shop UI. Players can switch between the Defualt UI, Chest UI, and EggWars UI at any time.

New Categories & Organization Potion Category: With the addition of new potions, this dedicated category allows for much faster selection. Favorites: A new tab where players can register and quickly access their most-used items.

🔨8. Balance Adjustmants

Pickaxes Reduced purchase costs to improve the overall tempo of the game.

Regeneration Hat Reduced healing performance to ensure a more balanced combat experience.

Totem Nerfs Blindness Totem: Removed the "Slowness" effect. It will now only restrict vision to keep the item from being overpowered.

📑9. Conclusion

"The Evolution Update" brings new layers of strategy and convenience to BedWars. Features like UI customization and the Quest system are highly anticipated by the community. (Example https://www.cubecraft.net/threads/daily-weekly-challenges.393245/
I believe these changes will evolve BedWars into a more engaging and long-lasting experience for everyone.

I like this nice ideas, weekly quests could also be implemented into other gamemodes as well

I see your point, but I'm slightly against adding them to every mode. Usually, new challenges are added alongside game updates.
That's why it works for BedWars, but for modes that are harder to update like SkyWars, CTF, or Bridges
I'm not sure if it would work well. I’d prefer to keep it focused on the more frequently updated modes.

Some people get bored of daily and weekly challenges within six months. Bedwars is easier to update, so new challenges can be added regularly along with new items and upgrades, but Skywars and other games can't update regularly.

I would also like to see a weekly leaderboard or something you can grind to during the week?

Personally, I like the changes you have in mind for BedWars, but I'm against adding challenges. I mean, I don't know how successful that is/would be on bedrock, since on java, we had challenges before, but no one did them so they got discontinued. So I don't know if adding them again would change that.

Love the other ideas tho!

If the challenge is to get 5 kills in one game, you can achieve it by just playing, and if you want to place 2500 blocks, you can achieve it by just continuing to play.

I think this kind of challenge would work well.

Wouldn't open challenges again help new players to level up and get points faster ? i mean i used to like doing the challenges when it was available , it motivate players to playe more ...

There's very little to keep you playing CubeCraft right now. There's nothing to gain by leveling up. The players on the leaderboards barely change. I'd really like some kind of challenge element.

I used to do them too. Mainly for my permanent cubelet collection but still. It was fun to do them.
I guess people just overlooked it easily since it wasn't that easy to find the challenges, unless you accidentally completed one.

And yes, I agree. Challenges that you complete just by playing would be awesome, but still, it would be a little to easy to earn extra XP/loot/cosmetics. Therefore they shouldn't all be as easy as that. You should also have a few that take up way more time, which give more items. I guess then it would keep players motivated since they complete easy ones by playing, and then they look further into it to find the more harder challenges.

I think that would work!
