Before I go into a giant yap about everything Cubecraft is doing wrong, I just want to say that nothing that I'm about to say is meant to insult or offend anyone. It might sometimes look rude but I'm just irritated about the footsteps of this server, which is why I'm making this thread.
So back in December and November, I made 2 different threads (linked here and here) explaining many things that Cubecraft is doing wrong, but those threads are a bit outdated, yet they are still relevant right now at the same time. Since necroposting is not allowed, the posts won't gain any more traction, even though they should, so this will be an updated version as of September 2026.
My main topic is simply just the moderation of the server. Aka hackers.
Just a week ago, you wouldn't have been able to play 3 GAMES, 3 GAMES!!!! of Bedwars (I'm guessing other games too) without encountering a very blatant hacker. The hacker would farm you, simply get diamonds or kill every team right away. No matter how many times they get reported, they never got banned, because they left, or cc just doesn't pay attention. I want to take a quote from my previous post's replies, "/sr is like gambling on a slot machine". If the player logs off, the report is salvaged. If too much time has passed, the report is salvaged.
Personally, I am an Asia player and have only seen 2 moderators in my lobby before. I know there are definitely very few moderators who operate in Asia, as out of all the hackers I've reported (during that time), there were 0 that actually got banned. I already know what a moderator is gonna say if they see this thread; "Use the forums." The forums, in my opinion, are a complete waste of time. Cubecraft is mainly made up of little kids who play on mobile devices, and these people will not have time to go to a random website on the internet to report a random hacker. Even if the hacker gets banned, 90% of the time, they will create a new account, circumventing the ban entirely. If you're a CC player who wants to snipe someone you don't like in say, duos or squads, it's as easy as making a new account and getting a hacking client and a VPN. I agree there is very little that can be done about this, but these people use the same handful of clients most of the time. Cubecraft should be perfectly capable of implementing an anticheat like the Hive, yet they refuse to do so for some reason, even though they are one of the largest servers on Bedrock.
Going back to the forums though, people a lot of the time don't record their gameplay of Cubecraft. Me personally, recording gives me a huge amount of random lag when turning my camera. If you're not on a mobile device, where it is extremely difficult to record gameplay and edit it, you are most likely on a laptop that has a limited amount of space. This pretty much means that the only people who regularly record their gameplay are PC players, and even then, the forums are so disorganized that making a report, a lot of the time, is confusing. You also either need to publish a youtube video, or use a program like mediafire to attach footage to a report, which doesn't make sense in the slightest to me. This is a minor thing, but it's still annoying to go through just to report a player. Keep in mind that this is 75% of the time the only way you can get a player banned from the network.
Another thing I want to mention is applying for moderator. The Cubecraft team, as Thjis stated, does not have 200 moderators (as of November 2025). I feel like that is really the bare minimum that a server can have, and Cubecraft still fails to meet this. It's likely due to the application criteria. You need to be active on the Discord server and the forums A LOT, and most people who have a life don't spend a lot of time on either of them, especially the forums. I applied for moderator twice, and my application was unsuccessful obviously because I'm not active on the dc or the forums at all. The demand for Cubecraft moderation is probably mainly to be able to ban cheaters on the Minecraft server itself. If Cubecraft removes this criteria from being able to become a moderator, they'd definitely get many more moderators, ban more hackers, and give a more enjoyable experience to the average player.
I have, however, noticed that Cubecraft, in the last week, has been doing a much better job at banning hackers both when they're on the server (through /sr) and through the forums, when they are offline. The amount of hackers has decreased, at least in the Asia region, by ~60% from my observations since last week. A hacker is almost always still present every 10 or so games, but they aren't as blatant, often using either fly, reach, or speed, and rarely a combination, so they don't get banned a lot of the time. Blatant hackers appear every 20 or so games however, and playing against them is practically impossible. As I've said, I can already smell the moderators spamming "Use the forums" in the replies, but since very little people both have access to the forums and have footage of someone hacking, this isn't very efficient.
Another thing I want to say is the inconsistencies of getting into a specific server, like Asia. In BW duo, players in the early morning get put into NA servers, DE servers (someone please explain what they are) or just EU servers. This keeps happening, at least for me, until 11 am, and is very tedious to be able to simply play on your own server.
If any moderator is seeing this, please reply and tell me your thoughts.
Peace out
