Hello CubeCrafters! It's been a while since the last Arcade update, but we think the wait has been worth it. We're proud to announce 1 returning game and 1 NEW game! Quake Craft After a long wait and many requests from the community we're bringing it back, but even better than the last time! In this game your task is simple, you have to get the most kills in 3 minutes to win. You spawn in a random place on the map with a railgun, shoot players to instantly kill them. Now you have 3 different quake game modes to play: Classic mode This is for players that like it simple or enjoyed our old Quake Craft. One in the Chamber If you want more of a challenge? Looking to improve your aim? Then this mode is for you! After spawning you will only get 1 bullet and missing your shot will mean you have to fight with your sword.Killing an an enemy will grant you 1 bullet. Stay alive at all costs because every time you die your respawn time increases by a second. Always watch your back! Powered Quake A completely chaotic version of Classic Quake Craft. Power Ups spawn accross the map containing Potions such as Speed and Jump boosts, crazy railguns such as Machine Gun or Grenade launcher, and other helpful powerups such as Armour, Fast Reload or Shields. Available Power Ups: Speed - Gives you extra speed for 10 seconds. Jump - Gives you jump boost for 15 seconds. Fast Reload - Every gun will reload twice as fast for 15 seconds. Shield - Equips in your off hand for 10 seconds and when blocking with it all projectiles coming in front of you will be reflected back (Holding a shield means that you can only shoot with left click). Airstrike - Calls an airstrike that shoots at location where you summoned it to. Shotgun - Gives you a shotgun that shoots 5 railgun beams at once (5 shots). Machine Gun - Gives you a machine gun (15 shots). Grenade Launcher - Shoots explosive shots that fall on the ground and explode on impact (3 shots). Rocket Launcher - Shoots a big rocket beam that explodes into a big explosion on impact (1 shot). Armour - Gives you golden chest plate, leggings and boots that will protect you from 1 shot into each armour part. You can still be instantly killed when shot in the head though. Grenade - Does everything you'd expect a grenade to do. Quake Wave - Summons a particle ring around you that expands for 2 seconds and kills everyone who touches it. Player using the Quake Wave Power Up Maps Spoiler: Click here to view the maps Brimstone: Become a stone cold quake killer! Ruins: Ruin your opponents! Tron: Get your game face tr-on! Jungle: Wood you like to fight? Castle (Classic): Can you become the king of the castle? Slime Survival "Snowman Survival" was only available for a short time during our Christmas Holiday Celebrations and boy did you guys love it! We heard your requests to bring it back loud and clear and are happy to announce it is a permanent game in Arcade! Normal mode One player is chosen as the first slime. It is their goal to throw the slippery and bouncy slimes at other players, converting them into slimes. You must avoid having contact with the thrown slimes before the timer runs out! As a Slime you have two slime shooting abilities. You can left click to quickly and instantly shoot a small slime or you can hold right click and charge your shot which will shoot a bigger slime, but you don't always have enough time to execute a charged shot so make the right choice of which to use and when. A small shot. A bigger charged shot. Slimes also get a special Slime Grenade once a minute that shoots a big Magma Slime a short distance that explodes into many smaller Magma Slimes. The player who starts as a Slime has the ability to track survivors every 30 seconds by pressing the swap hands key ('F' key by default), this will spawn an Eye of Ender that will start following the closest survivor and when it hits them they will glow for 10 seconds for everyone to see. As a survivor you can find Power Ups scattered around the map which will help defend yourself from the slimes, slow them down or just easily escape with their abilities. Power Ups: Speed Boost – Gives you extra speed for 10 seconds. Shield – Gives you a shield that protects any snowball hit (lasts 15 seconds or until you get hit). Leap – Leaps you forward. Fireballs – Gives you 3 fireballs that will blind and slow slimes down for 5 seconds. Blink – Teleports where you are looking. Jump Boost – Gives you jump boost for 15 seconds. Gravity explosive – Takes 1 second to charge up after use and causes an explosion that will cause nearby Slimes to fly away from you. Instant wall – Builds a brick wall in front of you in 2 seconds. Decoy – Creates a clone of yourself that will last either 30 seconds or until decoy gets hit with a snowball. While your decoy is alive you are completely invisible. Frost sword – Hitting a slime will freeze them in an ice cube for 7 seconds. Slime punched - Bow that shoots 3 arrows that will knock slimes away from you. Cage trap - Pressure plate that will put the Slime in a cage for 5 seconds when they step on it. Web bomb - Ball that will cover the nearby area with spider webs (Survivors can punch a spider web to destroy it instantly). Slime blinder - Summons a cloud that will blind slimes when they go into it. Slime freeze tag mode This gamemode is based off tag, where a few players are chosen as Slimes. The rest of the players will need to run and survive till the timer ends. If you get hit by a Slime, you will become paralysed. Your fellow teammates can recover you by either standing near you for a set amount of time, or use one of the 2 recovery Power Ups spread out around the map. If everyone gets paralysed, then it's game over! A player takes a break as they are paralysed! Slimes have similar abilities, but there's also a fixed amount of Slimes. To start with a few players will be selected to be the Slime (1-3 of the players). When a Survivor is paralysed, they will be on top of big Slime and unable to move except for small, slow hops. To increase the speed of recovering a paralysed player you can quickly click on them. Be careful though, the more you get paralysed the longer it takes to recover you. To the rescue! All slimes have a gadget in their 3rd hotbar slot, using it shows red glowing circles where survivors are, allowing Slimes to see through walls so it is not the best idea to hide as survivor in this mode. Just keep moving! There's also 2 extra Power Ups that spawn for Survivors: Recover Wand - Shoots a beam that will instantly recover a paralysed Survivor. Recover Grenade - A grenade that recovers all nearby paralysed Survivors on impact. Don't worry! All your favourite games are still available on the network. They are all inside "Mixed Arcade". We've limited the number of armour stands behind the Mixed Arcade armour stand to 3. These are the new Featured Armour Stands. They have the ability to be changed and rotated to showcase different Arcade games. Currently the featured games are Slime Survival, Quake Craft and Layer Spleef. Overtime you'll see the 3 armour stands change to show all the other wonderful Arcade games such as Paintball, Wing Rush and Line Dash. All of the games outside of Mixed Arcade and have their own armourstand, are singular games, rather than being single games of 10 rounds. Mixed Arcade still has 10 rounds in a single game.
