  • We're running an internal migration of all old players' stats to our new highly advanced statistics tracking backend. This means that stat changes will be a bit delayed while we ingest this huge backlog of data. Nothing is being lost, it'll just take a bit longer to show up in the in-game UIs.

I suggest bringing back the old sign queueing system for Eggwars or letting players choose from currently queued maps. There are currently a lot of maps that people leave simply because it isn't the map they're looking for. With signs, it would be much easier to see both the player count and the map before joining a game.

Another idea would be to let players choose from currently active queued maps or upcoming games instead. This could be an additional option for ranked players, perhaps as a submenu similar to the current map selection menu. It would work like sign queueing but in the current menu.

Maybe this would lead to fuller games and fewer players leaving at the last second? Right now, the queueing system lacks visual representation, which is something signs or another sub menu would fix. It would also give players more choice and could make the game more enjoyable overall. I simply think it would remove the frustration of joining 2-player maps when you're in a party or ending up in maps that aren't very popular. Players would be able to choose the maps they actually want to play, while also seeing which games are close to filling up.

Hi, there is currently no space to place these signs in lobby. Previously there were sublobbies for all game modes (as far as I remember) where they were. Theoretically it's possible to select map from "Map Selection" submenu and there is information how many players are on specific map, but as I saw these numbers aren't accurate or they're so delayed.

I get that. I liked sign queueing because it gave players more choice. For example, when I'm in a party of 4, we sometimes have to leave and requeue multiple times because we keep getting put into 2-player maps. Whenever we use map selection it takes a long time for the game to fill so I don't see it as a solution unfortunately.

Maybe there could be a middle ground. One idea would be to let players choose from currently active queue pools or upcoming games instead. This could be an additional option for ranked players, perhaps as a submenu similar to the current map selection menu. It would work like sign queueing but in the current menu.

Basically it's a better idea, but it should be placed somewhere else than map selection submenu. For example shift clicking "Team EggWars" item instead of just queuing could open menu displaying servers. However, to prevent "ping abusing" it should only show servers within current region. If there are no servers available in current region, then all servers should become visible.

Alternatively they can just add option in settings to force queue into games with team size greater or equal to party size. It's also good option that can be implemented with low effort.
