2) Butterfly Clicking is now a punishable offence on the server. Now in 1.9 PvP butterfly clicking is completely pointless so this isn’t a major change, just something to be aware of.

I don't think you realize the point of this thread.
Spam click is really the only way to fight in 1.8...
Even though it says "1.8 PvP" The server is still in 1.9... It just reduces the time taken to hit to a really low value. The Hitrate is still the same as in 1.9, so it's not really 1.8 PvP.

I know it's not.
But you still have to spam click to play it fair and properly. I think. I don't play classic (1.8 pvp on 1.9) too often.

The attack speed on all the weapons in classic pvp is really high so you can click as fast as you want and do full damage.
But the hit rate is still the same. Entity cooldown is still a thing. Since Beta 1.8. Before official release. Back in 2011.

Butterfly clicking =/= 1.8 pvp

Most 1.8/1.7 servers with a proper anticheat recommend you not to butterflyclick as you could get banned for it. Why worry about 1 more server that doesn't allow it?

Competitive 1.8 pvpers which are what are usually drawn to gamemodes like duels and ffa put a huge emphasis on practicing their cps and getting it as high as possible to hit people as soon as they come in reach :P It won't be a big problem but I still think a large amount of the false bans will happen to players in these modes :P

If you're good at Minecraft, you'd better stop being good at Minecraft, as it's now a punishable offence ._.

Will make a thread on it whenever I have time to

Butterfly Clicking is a click methode where you can reach over 20+. That's why it can trigger the Anti-Cheat, but you can always Jitter Click with 13-14 CPS what's fine for the Anti-Cheat.

@CrazymanJR Correct me. :)

Butterfly clicking is similar to an auto clicker because of it's production rate of double clicks, not just CPS.

That's why I jitterclick, but why would butterfly clicking be banable? Maybe you can just reach 17 cps when you jitter, but if you butterfly you have the same.
I know, the anticheat does not look to your cps but anyways.
