Liquid Hot Magma

Is there a known glitch preventing me from completing this quest, or is it deliberately almost impossible to do 90% of the time? Any hints/tricks to make this easier? I am having trouble being able to extinguish myself in the cauldron. I can’t seem to fall in one except maybe once every 20-30 tries. I have two rows of them right next to my lava pool. I have also tried single cauldron set at floor level. I can’t seem to fall/walk/jump my way into them.

I play using an IPad so Minecraft P.E. Edition (I think).

I’m guessing you mean cauldrons, I also struggled with that but it’s just takes some time. I just walked over the top and fell in so I would suggest jumping. Good luck ^^

Cauldrons are just difficult to get in, I suggest going slowly over them while looking down at the center

You are correct, I meant cauldron. (Edited to OP to show cauldron)

I recommend making a corner with 2 trapdoors above the cauldron.
For example 1 block above cauldron the open trapdoor faces north and the one above that one faces west.
