Yes, that’s the current situation.I just realised that when your skill points improve, your next opponent is better like you which increase chances to meet hackers like I met every match.

We need a nostalgia event.Remove subscriptions
Or jst bring cc back to like 2020
Or we just remove everything new and just have 2020 cube id prefer that tbh, then everything at least looked vanillaWe need a nostalgia event.
from my understanding, being put on different regional servers was an issue that has existed even before sbmm and is a result of playing when your specific region is not popular. I have not noticed a significant difference in regional base matchmaking on the extreme polar ends of my timezone being asia starting at 11:59pm+ for me at na starting at 2pm for me. this issue would be solved by adding a first layer of regional based matchmaking before sbmm is applied.3. The Nightmare of SBMM
CubeCraft implemented SBMM.
For top Asian players, this is the worst.
When a top Asian player queues, the system cannot find enough other top Asian players, so they get connected to the EU/NA regions where other top EU/NA players are playing.
When Asian players connect to EU/NA, their ping exceeds 300ms, and for NA, it can exceed 350ms.
This is not Skill Based Matchmaking. It is simply favoring EU/NA players.
There were times before when I would get matched with players from different regions, but since SBMM was introduced, it has become much more frequent.from my understanding, being put on different regional servers was an issue that has existed even before sbmm and is a result of playing when your specific region is not popular. Because CubeCraft made such a terrible change with SBMM, I’ve been moving over to Hive. But on Hive nowadays, I barely see any hackers at all. About a year ago, there were almost as many hackers as on CubeCraft…I only agree with one thing the lag, It really does lag, even for me, and I have a really good internet connection. As for hackers, they’re everywhere, and in my opinion, there are even more of them on other servers than on CubeCraft, as for SBMM I think it’s a good idea; personally, it doesn’t bother me
This was the actual player count for SkyWars Mega. With numbers like this, you can’t even tell whether a match is going to start.I definitely agree. The amount of lag on the server right now is so difficult to play with. My average ping is 15,000!!! The worst thing is: I play in big parties, with up to 10 people. Whenever we go to the lobby, it gives me crazy amounts of lag, up to 50,000 ms. Cubecraft really needs to fix this.
There is also another bug in Skywars, just like the eggwars shop, where sometimes if you open a chest, it'll close and when you try to loot it, the items will stay in the chest. This glitch makes it very difficult to play fast games, and it's been happening to me for a while now.
Sbmm is going to mess up gameplay. For small games like skywars mega, where the most players I've seen playing that are 126 (the average is 40-50), sbmm won't make any sense in my eyes. If you only have 50 players on, how will you divide those 50 players across games? Megas only has like 7 maps too!
I agree, hackers stink. ESPECIALLY NOW!!!!
I am going to be dead honest. I have seen more hackers this past 2 months than in the past 3 years I've been playing Cube. Here's a little story. Me and the ranked xVonte were playing Skywars mega. There were about 1-2 hackers EVERY GAME!! We go to do teams of 2, and guess what? There's a reacher. After no luck in half of our games, I'm getting frustrated and decide to log off. Pretty sad right?
I completely agree with you and think that CubeCraft isnt doign so well right now.
