aww little man angy over game? sbmm has been great for me and i support this update alot because it makes the game more fun for me.
Casual players support SBMM because it reduces the number of times they lose, right?

However, making a decision based solely on the fact that it makes the game easier for yourself is a bad approach.

SBMM can interpret hackers as high-win-rate, high-skilled players and put them into matches with top players. This results in top players ending up in matches full of hackers. They just lose to hackers, have their win streaks broken, get frustrated, and eventually move to other better servers.

Agreed. SBMM is going to hurt the server more than help it. It basically turned normal queues into ranked queues. Like what you said, playing well will make your future matches much more difficult. Input based matchmaking is fine as it is. SBMM is likely going to funnel high CPS sweats in your matches if you're good at the game and make it a nightmare to play, and I can't compete against that! The main reason I avoided playing on the other server I won't name is because its too sweaty, which makes it not enjoyable. I enjoy CubeCraft because the games are fun without it being too easy or sweaty every game, it's medium most of the time.
If CubeCraft wanted to turn public matches (normal matches) into ranked matches by adding SBMM, I would have preferred them to add a separate ranked mode instead. That way, there probably would have been much less criticism from the community.

The primarily real issues ive really noticed are that
1. hackers are common(this is an anticheat problem)
2. regional match making
from what i can tell the issue most seem to have with sbmm is not actually sbmm but rather a lack of regional based match making. i think both system could be implemented with regional base match making being prioritized over sbmm
