Actually, it’s the exact opposite. This is precisely why some reports can’t be handled. Moderators are human too, which means not every situation can be fully understood from limited evidence, even if it seems obvious to the person reporting. Sometimes moderators simply don’t have enough to go on, and it goes without saying that no one wants to receive, or issue, an unfair punishment.
Because of this, trolling reports are often judged based on interpretation, meaning not everyone will agree on the same outcome. It has nothing to do with corruption or bypassing.
To add to that, if someone is repeatedly calling you out or making you feel uncomfortable, you can file a player safety report. This can be done on the forums. Keep in mind, however, that these reports are also based on interpretation, though they will be reviewed with full discretion to ensure the best possible outcome for everyone involved. No one should feel uncomfortable whilst playing on the server.
I'd also like to add that it seems the moderator in question, CKelting, may have simply had a bad day and responded in a frustrated manner. Unfortunately, people tend to immediately call out bad behaviour but rarely acknowledge good behaviour, since doing good is often taken for granted. Let’s all please calm down, there is always room for improvement.
