Bedrock An optional queue for non-PC players who want to use Keyboard & Mouse

I wanted to post an idea about how platform matchmaking works on the server. I totally understand why CubeCraft uses Sentinel to ban hardware adapters—it's completely unfair when someone sneaks a mouse and keyboard into casual controller lobbies and crushes people using standard thumbsticks.

But at the same time, it sucks for console players who genuinely prefer using a keyboard and mouse but don't own a gaming PC. Right now, there is basically no legal way for them to use their hardware without risking a permanent ban on their Minecraft profile.

My suggestion is to give players on non-PC devices a button in their settings to choose for themselves to join the PC/Crossplay lobbies. Since you can already walk around the main server lobbies safely with your keyboard and mouse plugged in without getting banned, you would just turn this setting ON while standing in the lobby before you join a game. When you turn this setting on, you will no longer get banned for using a keyboard and mouse because the server will only place you into PC matches for all game modes-including massive team games like Mega EggWars or BlockWars where queues already blend during quiet hours.

I think this would be a great middle-ground for the community:

• Keeps lobbies fair: It gives keyboard players a legitimate, legal place to play on non-PC consoles. This immediately pulls them out of the regular joystick pools where they have an unfair mechanical advantage.
• Protects accounts: If there's an official way to play in PC lobbies, players won't feel forced to use adapters to bypass the system. This means fewer rule-breakers for staff to review and less stress for players who just want to use their gear safely.
• Fills up games faster: It provides extra players to help start those giant team matches much quicker.
