Do you want false hackusation to be punishable? Also, when will playing games be bannable?

Disclaimer: Parts of this suggestion may be sarcastic. This thread is meant to suggest some strictness to false hackusation. This thread is a sequel to my first "Did you know? It's bannable to win games!" thread.

For reference: https://www.cubecraft.net/threads/did-you-know-its-bannable-to-win-games-suggestion.151024/

Ever had the one game or PvPed for hours and then you got accused of hacking for killing a guy or being good? You're not alone. Some people are barraged with false hackusations, annoying them to the bone. While many say to just brush it off and accept it as a compliment, let me ask you this: what if you were barraged with many, and I mean 10+ hackusations in 1 game or even 20+ per game, all happening within a short time? Feel annoyed and disrespected? You came to the right place.

While hackusation should be allowed to an extent, it should be restricted also. Let's allow correct hackusation, as in if one spots a real hacker, then hackusation is allowed. However, if the accusation is false (no proof or other player was 100% legit), then multiple hackusations can turn into spam or disrespect.

*Disclaimer applies starting here until the end of this post*
What if it's not the case? We got so many of these "fake" hackers and trolls on the server! This is why we have an implied rule on the entire server, just as other servers have also: it's bannable to win games or be skilled in PvP, let alone to play or even log onto the server!

Take a look at the following players who were banned or reported for being good at PvP or for winning.

@HyungJun Kim (aka KimchiGod) was banned for being good at PvP, shown in this video and this thread here:

https://www.cubecraft.net/threads/how-am-i-hacking-please-tell-me-am-i-hacking.164737/

The following screenshots show a guy reporting me for winning and being good at PvP.

2016-10-02_12.01.45.png

How this is bannable:
-See the top-left corner where I'm using the Optifine client? Also see all the accused hacks? It's clear that if one uses a mod and if a "mod" such as kill aura is a hack, then a mod such as Optifine is considered a hack! Therefore, it's bannable to use ANY mod on the server!

Let's summarize what's happening above.

You win a game and/or kill a lot of people in PvP. The others end up:
-Calling you a hacker
-Reporting you (as seen above with both KimchiGod and me)
-Giving you a lot of hate
-Rude remarks

Given the implication above that any hack is a mod, that some mods are unapproved, and that players have been banned for modding, you can't do much at this point. What do you do? Appeal? Want to lie and get out with some chances?

The best solution: automatically ban anyone who wins or is really good at PvP
You hate losing to hackers? Hate it and you impulsively get salty on those good players or hackers? Then this is for you!

-Unlike before, no voteban. This would be extremely abused, so this is out of question.
-Why the good PvPers? Because if they get accused of hacking so much, then they have to be hacking, right? Makes sense!
-Make this implied rule become explicit. If there's rules against hacking and teaming and players have been accused of "hacking," then why not?
-Automatically ban any winners or any good PvPers (anyone who gets a good killstreak in games or FFA PvP) for 30 minutes on the first offense. Second and after give 1 hour bans (never permanent). Hey, we will get glad that the hackers got kicked out of the server!
-Team game? Have one hacker on the team? Think everyone is a hacker? No worries! If the team is really good at PvP or wins, the entire team gets a ban! Same ban times as above! We'll all be glad that the hackers got kicked out!

TL;DR or bottom line: STOP complaining about losing. Accept the loss and don't rage. Don't call people hackers when they're not and don't threaten them. If you suspect someone is hacking, test them a few times and try not to tell them you are. When you have enough proof, report and if you're sure they're actually hacking, then hackusation is okay. Otherwise, don't make yourself look bad from false hackusation or toxicity.

Kimchigod's appeal was accepted as there is a recognized bug that makes it look like you are constantly shifted, to undo this just press shift again once during the game.

Yes, I know about that. That's not the point - the point is a lot of people falsely accuse others of hacking, even crossing the line to spamming and harassing the user.

I don't see any problem...
I get Hackusated every day,
And reported once a month...
Till now never got banned whatsoever.
I don't have that much skill, but still enough to make people doubt if it's skill or not...
Just ignore them and take it as a compliment...

Weird :/
When I reported someone with this bug my report got denied,
Well Staff aren't Robots so nothing to do about it.

Isn't this thread a bit against the rules or something!?
I don't really care so:
No (false)Hackusating won't be punishable...
(My opinion deal with it)

Not sure if this is part of your "sarcasm", but no, he wasn't banned for being good at PvP. He was banned for a visual glitch, which is nobody's fault, not even the romans mods. Also in this case there was only one hackusation (not 10+ or 20+), while @HyungJun Kim wasn't the best sport about it either ("u suck", "lol ez").
So I guess this is a pretty bad example for your case. Unless it's part of the "sarcasm" and your point is actually that hackusations aren't a problem that is? I really would prefer if you just said your point :)

Now everyone, while "soft" hackusations might be taken as compliment, if took too far, like Bravo said, this happens:

Now now, aside from the molestation threat, tell me if those hackusations aren't harassing. And he kept spamming me until the last guy was left on the game.

So I'd punish hackusations if spammed or harassing. But not just "hax", that would be just too dull to take as harassing.

I agree with this in some ways, sometimes players go too far with hackusating you. For example when like 6 people all start focusing you because you "hack" and then say something like this when they killed you:
Xx_PvPProNLg3tr3ktMLG_xX: Haha EZ noob hacker, killed the hacker! you fail! go *fornicate* your mom!
Go take that as a compliment. Of course, this doesn't happen often and is thus not a huge problem, but I still agree with you in some ways.

What I do most of the time is just something like this:

Xx_PvPProNLg3tr3ktMLG_xX: KronosReeper hacks
Xx_PvPProNLg3tr3ktMLG_xX: Kronos is a hacked client you hack
Xx_PvPProNLg3tr3ktMLG_xX: KronosReeper killaura
KronosReeper: Prove it.

Most of the time you can silence them with those 2 simple words. But sometimes they go on:

Xx_PvPProNLg3tr3ktMLG_xX: ban
Xx_PvPProNLg3tr3ktMLG_xX: get banned KronosReeper
Xx_PvPProNLg3tr3ktMLG_xX: im rec hahaha
KronosReeper: Good, now put it on the forums, because I have never seen you there before.

This will silence even the most persistent ones. If they still go on, just ignore them, they are not worth your attention and time anymore.

This is an actual conversation I once had. (but player Xx_PvPProNLg3tr3ktMLG_xX doesn't exist as far as I know) By the way, I like your sarcasm. I recognize this a lot. I once reported a hacker on another (small) server; The hacker has fly, killaura and nokb. After I recorded him and put it on their forums, both of us got banned.
Player: 1 week. Reason: fly, killaura, noknockback
Me: 2 weeks. reason: gammabright.

I never joined that server ever again.

Well, I just had a player that hackusated me in the first 6 or so duels (although he wasn't even bad and killed me two times). Then in the next duel he killed me and decided I didn't hack and he even said sorry in the last game. So that was nice I guess.

I think the large amount of false bans is due to 1.9 being really new still and there are not that many people who are great at it. 3 of my friends have been banned falsely from this server. 2 had their appeal accepted the other was only able to come back on because of the punishment system being reset. That's one of the reasons I started recording my leaderboards fights so I could have at least some evidence of me being decent at pvp if I got banned. I feel like a lot of moderators just don't know what being really skilled in 1.9 combat looks like as again there are very few people good at 1.9. I even heard a moderator in teamspeak say that they thought that @Thefty hacked sometimes. This worries me because I would say Thefty is only a bit better than me (only a bit @Thefty :P )

With so many hackers all over the place it's normal for people to become paranoid and call out people earlier. Why? Simple because 9 out of the 10 times you are actually dealing with a hacker on Cubecraft. I don't really mind seeing all the "you are hacking" cries in the chat and I think it's stupid to ban people who scream this. You have to know that a big part of the Minecraft community are basically 8 year old kids. You expect them to act different then... well annoying kids?

I mostly play Eggwars and when I have a bow it's almost impossible for anyone else to get to mid. I am rather good with a bow so most of the time I need just one shot. You don't even wanna know how many people called me a hacker. I've had several teams teaming up against our team simply because they believed I was hacking. Totally fine with me. And I think it's awesome to see multiple teams trying to get a hacker down. Even though it can indeed be someone who isn't hacking.

Let them cry and play your game.

Being banned even while you weren't hacking is on the moderators not on anyone who is crying about hackers. You need to have video proof. I never take anyone serious who accuses me of hacking, because they will never have any kind of evidence. If a moderator bans someone with a video that doesn't give any proof it shows they are incapable as a mod and shouldn't be allowed to ban anyone else.

I just laugh and am complemented when I am hackusadted. It's not that big of a deal. People just get nervous when one of them call hacks then get to believe themselves when they lose in a fight. As long as people don't start to target you, then it's completely harmless.(unless you ARE hacking of course o_O)
