Its not mainly about offending users, its just disgusting to look at. People come on Cubecraft for fun and games, not for disrespectful users to swear. The community is mainly young, and I believe that the mute system protects them from swearing. This is a -1 for me. Sorry

Minecraft is made for fun and its aimed at young children, so swearing in Minecraft and Cubecraft is extremely disrespectful to others, and 100% people who are younger.

I find my strongest point on the server, is to protect and keep the community safe, and definitely the younger people. I truly dislike, rude, selfish users. Just think about others.

Minecraft is rated Pegi 7, it means that childrens with 7 years and up can play, I think their parents wont let them buy a rank here if they see people swearing. Or even worth, I think when you were 7 your parent wont let you say any curse word, they didn't teach you, right?

This is highly not useful.
If they say a swear word in chat, unless it is in /tell, they deserve a mute because many children play on the server that are under the age of 13.
It should stay mutable.

Minecraft opens to all ages, you need to be mindful about the children who plays on here, yes it's fine to swear once awhile but not towards someone.
We want to keep the community PG13 and welcome players with open arm.

Imagine a 9 year old coming to multiplayer and a popular server at that, to be greeted but non stop vulgarities. This would reflect badly on the server and what would their parents think? Not just the parents but those decent players. Is this how you want to portray the com?

Please consider this.

Incorrect. Now days as technology has grow, most children learn swearing from games and the internet. So if they want to play Minecraft and see swearing and will learn it. If they do learn it from school, its possibly from a bad background/childhood or from other children who learn swearing from games and the internet.

You possibly don't care about others, but I do and the other people in this thread.

Even with the best words filter ever*, they will swear, find ways to do it. So the system must stay as same as it is


PS: I'm working on one, "Noob=Pro" and so on ;), but those MUST be changed weekly, due they will understand the way it works

I never considered shit as a swear word - but I understand that many may view it that way. I also heard some players consider "damn" as a swear word.

We just want a warm and welcoming server, no one wants to be welcomed with bad manners.
