Minecon 2015

This is most likely mot going to happen for a variety of reasons, but I thought I'd just out the idea out there :p

Yes, go to Minecon!
1. Its situated in London in the UK, where CCG is located.
2. You can represent + advertise the server in a live convention.
3. Create hype for the 10 THOUSAND players on this server.
4. Meet the owners + staff IRL + chat

No, of course not!
1. Probably too far of a trip for staff/the owners to get to - London is pretty far for some
2. We're too small - We're not as big as certain companies and servers *cough Minep*** and we wouldnt stand out.
3. Way too expensive - flight tickets, booth, way too much.
4. So much organization that would take so much time.

Personally, I'm looking at the 'No' side more than the 'Yes' due to practicality. but I just wanted to get the idea out there.

As an alternative, CCG could also sponsor Minecon for some advertisement without actually sending live human representatives. I've seen bookmarks, coupons, merchandise, etc. Donated by servers which are given to the attendees. Its more practical, and CCG has grown to the point where we are fairly substantial and powerful.

If we had a way bigger server, then my answer would be yes. But we are just begging that major "peak" in growth. We still need all the funding we can get. And as cool as it would be to have a CCG meetup, only like 5 people would show up .-. And it would be awkward asf.

I do not know when minecon is gonna start but for one thing i know my dad just went to London and Irelend a few days ago....He would never go there even for me xD. I kinda wish i went with my dad even though i am not allowed to because it is a buisness trip and idk if i would want to because to get to London/Irelend i dont know which one it takes liiiikeeeeeeeeee......13 hours? i don't know i do not remember stuff from my dad xD

For me going to Minecon, it's a big fat NO, unfortunately. My parents have no jobs and aren't earning enough money to get a plane ticket, x amount of tickets to Minecon, hotel fees, etc. If it were to be in the USA, I may be able to go. ( I didn't even know about Minecon until the 2013 one brought news)

Buttttt, same reason for me, even though going from Germany to UK isn't THAT expensive and stuff, my mom is poor too and I don't think I'm allowed to go there D:
