So as I've noticed today, my 320 block mob dropper, which was intentionally made this high so it can only be used with a second player or alt account being online inbetween the drop, suddenly spawned mobs, even though im the only person online. after some testing and checking whats happening, I came to the conclusion that the despawn range had been removed. At first sight, this may look like a good change for many, however it is not. Current farms, which rely on maxing out the mobcap for max loot and/or xp, operate the best when there are no mobs outside that farm in the dimension its been built in. removing the despawn distance thus comes with a big issue, mobs that spawn in one of your farms, for example an xp farm, but dont die on their own now take up space in the mobcap, which leads to reduced rates on all your other farm that are built for utilising the full mobcap. for example the current meta farm (basically a watertube with spawners in and around it, killing with multihit looting 20) now is practically impossible to get rid of the hostile mobs inside (it maxes out the mobcap almost every spawncycle). vice versa this means that some farms now permanently inhabit or even fully block the mobcap, thus leading to lag and farms not working at max efficiency, it can even affect quests that require you to kill mobs, if youve already built and ran such a farm, youd have to manually remove all spawners every time youre leaving it and kill every mob that escapes during this process, which is insaley tedious. this change should thus be reverted, or at least modifed to work like it did just a few days ago again ( a small despawn distance increase is fine for the most part, like up to 200 blocks, but global range with no way to escape just harms us all.)

actually that 127 block vertical limit was a really old bug. but they fixed it now and i don't think if they will reverse that bug. checkout this link

i actually agree with you, but cube works on things which helps majority of the community playing.
So the changes can be good for someone and bad for someone else.
The opinions of players vary.
I agree with you too, i would suggest you to find a alternative for it because i dont think cube will revert their changes unless its supported by majority of players.

you dont seem to understand the issue. it is bad for everyone. there is no benefit for anyone in hostile mobs not despawning at any distance.

It's really bad for me too and this change was never there before!! It's recent update and I don't like it at all.

I'm absolutely sure that most mobile players won't like it either, As you can see in my first reply, I uploaded video showing the issue and keeping in mind that my phone is high-end and supports 120 FPS, I still faced severe frame drop, So what about players with mid-range or low-end mobile devices?

Best regards 🌹

Been holding up alright, I wish the same for you all
An example of the server problem I was talking about. You can see the ping mismatch between my client and what the server says. If I was actually lagging, the ping number on my client would be much higher. The ping spike happened after playing a few matches in the server, which makes it impossible to have a long session without lagging or having to relog.
