Today is a big day for us all! We're finally releasing an update for our Tower Defence gamemode - after 1233 days! We're super excited to be showing off this update - after a lot of feedback from our staff team, and the Tower Defence Discord! Read on to find out more

Quality of Life Features!

This update includes a whole bunch of quality of life features for everyone to experiment and mess around with - take a look!

Tower range tool!

This shows you the range of the tower in three different ways!

1) You can see the tower range by hovering over the top of the tower.
2) You can see all of the nearest 10 towers range by shifting.
3) You can permanently see a towers range by activating the tool in the tower menu:

Today is the day where our Bedrock platform gets improved drastically!

We've gathered so much feedback over the last month regarding our new knockback and platform-specific games, and are finally unveiling it all today! Read on to find out more...

New Knockback!

After a month of testing our new knockback with two different versions, we feel like it's ready for global release. With this release, we've opted for a marginally different configuration - mixing the first and second version. So, you may feel a slightly different knockback from how it was before:
- Increased vertical knockback very slightly.
- Decreased horizontal knockback very slightly.

Hey Bedrock CubeCrafters!

Today, we're releasing our second version of our Experimental Knockback! After reading all of your feedback on our initial release thread, we have decided to make a few changes! Read on to find out more...

Changelog!

- Decreased vertical knockback slightly: We did not want to decrease it to the point that combos were impossible, however, we've decreased it so you don't go flying when you're in a fight.

- Increased horizontal knockback slightly: Though the difference is rather negligible (for reference, the number was increased by 0.003 in code), we think this helps with getting combos on players, especially with the reduced vertical knockback.

Hey Bedrock CubeCrafters!

Today, we're super excited to introduce to you our first edition of the Knockback test! We've been working pretty hard to get this rolling - we've mentioned in our community talk about Bedrock that we're wanting to involve you guys with these tests before implementing to our entire network. Once we have enough feedback, we'll be pushing these changes to our network, but we need a lot of feedback from everyone to make sure this knockback is as good as it can be!

Knockback Test Version 1:
23/12/2020

First iteration.
Made knockback more consistent - large deviation from the current knockback.
Increased horizontal and vertical velocity from the current 1.9 knockback configuration.
