I was Cyber attacked after becoming a fool to a Hacker's Trap

2 days ago, a stranger sent me a DM on discord along a friend Request with a friendly gesture, they told me that they were gathering people to as a surprise for their friend's birthday, as their friend was a builder and built a city in some server and so they wanted people so they could record them as a surprise, I found absolutely nothing suspicious about it, they did tell me that the server needed some mods to be added, and so i found no issue with that

they sent me a zip folder that contained all mods that i know of and so i wasn't suspicious about it until i downloaded it, and i wish i never did that, Next up was all disaster, everything was almost hacked, my google accounts, my discord, my steam account, and it had me panicking

Never trust someone to send you known mods even if you know what the mod clearly does

Some normal mods on Minecraft can be easily Masked or Fabricated, making you fall easy for a hacker's trap, especially on Fabric

Unless you know that person very well and trust them with their actions Do NOT download mods from strangers, as they potentially could contain a virus that can grab all your personal information and steal your accounts
