3. The Nightmare of SBMM
CubeCraft implemented SBMM.
For top Asian players, this is the worst.
When a top Asian player queues, the system cannot find enough other top Asian players, so they get connected to the EU/NA regions where other top EU/NA players are playing.
When Asian players connect to EU/NA, their ping exceeds 300ms, and for NA, it can exceed 350ms.
This is not Skill Based Matchmaking. It is simply favoring EU/NA players.

from my understanding, being put on different regional servers was an issue that has existed even before sbmm and is a result of playing when your specific region is not popular. I have not noticed a significant difference in regional base matchmaking on the extreme polar ends of my timezone being asia starting at 11:59pm+ for me at na starting at 2pm for me. this issue would be solved by adding a first layer of regional based matchmaking before sbmm is applied.

There were times before when I would get matched with players from different regions, but since SBMM was introduced, it has become much more frequent.

I only agree with one thing the lag, It really does lag, even for me, and I have a really good internet connection. As for hackers, they’re everywhere, and in my opinion, there are even more of them on other servers than on CubeCraft, as for SBMM I think it’s a good idea; personally, it doesn’t bother me
