Bring Back Assassinations
Introduction
I think Assassinations should return to CubeCraft! It was one of the most unique and memorable modes, and many older players still remember how much fun it was. It would also give newer players a chance to try something completely different from normal PvP.
How It Works
- Players roam the map continuously, earning money to buy better weapons, armor, food, and potions.
- Instead of assigned targets, players can take on bounties, contracts on other players for cash rewards.
- Other players may have bounties on you, so you always need to stay alert.
- Shops around the map let you upgrade your gear to survive and hunt effectively.
- The world resets periodically, keeping the game fresh and exciting.
Why It Was Fun
Assassinations combined freedom, strategy, and tension. Every encounter was unpredictable, someone who seemed friendly could suddenly strike on you because they wanted your loot. You had to decide when to fight, when to upgrade, and when to hide, making every decision meaningful.
Why It Should Return
- Nostalgia for veteran players
- New experiences for players who never tried it
- Variety compared to traditional PvP modes
Assassinations offered a unique mix of strategy, resource management, and PvP. Returning it would bring back a classic while adding variety to CubeCraft’s current lineup of games.
Possible Improvements
- New or updated maps
- Leaderboards or achievements to encourage competition
- Seasonal events for rewards and variety
- Small gameplay tweaks to improve balance and accessibility
These updates would make the mode feel fresh and engaging, while keeping the original gameplay that made it so memorable.
Conclusion
Overall, Assassinations was a creative and exciting game mode that brought something unique to CubeCraft. Bringing it back would add more variety to the server and create new memorable moments for players.
What do you think about bringing Assassinations back? Did you ever play the original version?
