Some people call me hacks when I pvp them with. I said it is skill, and they go report me so here's How I pvp so well. 1.WASD. Strafing is key. When you strafe your attacker is less likely to hit you.Strafing takes practice. At first you might feel wierd but as you get used to strafing you might find it useful and try to strafe with more randomness. 2.Click speed. Although you might think that this is not really important because minecraft can only register a few clicks it can;t register every single click, but Click speed help as that makes sure you are always swinging your sword.I jitter click in order to get the best out of attack speed.(I have about 9 to 10 clicks per second) 3. Aim.This is one of the most important elements to being a good pvper. It might be hard to improve on it you might have to set your mouse sensitivity higher. 4.The control button. This is one of the things not so much players know about,so if you press control and w you automatically sprint. That helps me when people are getting away and also fight out of corners easily. 5.Block hit. This is another one of those tricks you need to know when someone is comboing you hard you block and hit it stops the combo.
This thread is so helpfull for people who want to be better in PvP, by myself do I know every tactic you called. The one I don't use is block-hitting. :/
yes but the former blockhuttinh in 1.7 was removed. It still exists in 1.8 but is much harder. 1.11 will bring the hit&block strat back. 1.11 has onr advantage. The character limit was increased from 100 to 256 in the chat.
If you do jitter-click, I'd highly recommend attempting to butterfly. Though it may be a little bit unconventional, and may take a while to get use to, it is more reliable in longer pvp fights. In short pvp fights, by all means, jitter click, but butterfly clicking can keep a longer, consistent fight.
High CPS = high APM. Pro players have about 200 APM (actions per minute). For regular players, you don't need as much APM. You don't need a high APM or high CPS to be good in a game, especially in 1.9. Here's a quote from the StarCraft 2 forums: In short, 9-10 CPS is overkill in MC. I myself had about 7 CPS in 1.8 and about 80-100 APM. @agent320: blockhit in 1.7 and 1.8 are the same. It's just that the animation in 1.8 is choppy.[/QUOTE]
