Is it like that on every island?

Pretty much the same all of them yeah I guess.

I agree with @OrangeGrapeEater , its a bit too op. Do you know why the beacon gets powered by emerald blocks instead of dia/iron/gold blocks? So people cant make armor from it. In this map, people who spawn on the redstone island dont stand a chance against people who spawn on an iron island.

If you want a original idea, think of a movie or specific theme and go with that. Just try not to make some islands more OP than others. I like the idea of blocks or gems. You could do floating ores so players have to bridge to get them. and each player could start on an island that has just stone iron and coal. Its quite a difficult theme to make something creative.
