Hey there!

So recently, I accidentally broke a rule called "necro-posting".
I have been warned for it, no need to do it again.
But anyways, my suggestion is to automatically lock threads older than 2 weeks,
so this won't happen anymore to anyone.

That's an good idea!

Well there are some threads that don't apply for necroposting like the Cubecraft book of world records and feedback threads

Really it is pointless
Someone necroposts, they get told not to, the thread gets locked everythign is fine
Then make exeptions to the rule, like that thread

Yeah!! This is suggested a long time ago, but I stay supporting this idea. Than we will also have a rule less on the forums, because you can't anymore necro-posting. Anyway good idea!

This is a bit unnecessary, as it should not bother, as long as no one replicates to threads that take more than 13 days there will be no problem.

Not nessisary and codeing would be really difficult for andy...

It is an automated AI
With more threads that don't apply it is going to autolock
This is also just genuinely pointless

Also basically what @jollow250 said.

No-no-no.

Automated locking is a big no.
Sometimes things are still very relevant after 2 weeks and I want to be able to reply instead of making/waiting for a new thread which is basically the same.

I personally think that things are good the way they are right now... if people actually took time to read through the forum rules, then this wouldn't be an issue ;)

Okay, so most threads at least 2 weeks old are about 5,6-7 pages down the forums, right? So it's concerning enough that they have got to this point, let alone actually begun posting. It's extremely obvious, and I don't really think it happens that often.

I really like this idea but as @jollow250 said if someone is currently talking in that post it can make it a little hard, not to mention there are a few exceptions to this rule, with forums games those I don't believe it matters if it's 2 weeks old or if it's not a very active part of the forums and everything on there is about two weeks old then the rule doesn't apply as much, it's a nice idea and maybe some additions it could be nice
