hit cooldown

Hey, i wanted to know why is there hit cooldown in this server?(bedrock)
I this server Im unable to do combos. My cps is 17+. I feel that there is a hit cooldown, it doesnt feel like java on this server, Thanks

we went through this but here's a recap:
essentially this was either to make bedrock more like java 1.8 or more like singleplayer bedrock, on some other servers, they do not allow critical hits and allow hits to be landed faster. this was either intentional or coincidental. and you can still combo on cubecraft it just takes effort and practice, not every server is built the same. each server has its own set hit cooldown value -locked
