NEW PVP SYSTEM COMING TO MINECRAFT BEDROCK

GUYS! what do y'all think about the new pvp system coming to bedrock. Mojang announced they are going to be adding cooldowns to attacks and make it much more like Java. I would like too know what you all think, and if cc is gonna do anything about it. I personally am very pissed, if they add cooldowns.

Honestly I hope it happens. Literally the biggest reason why I don't like Bedrock is because of the awful pvp style. Just my opinion though, but I like cooldowns that Java has.

I agree! I like the cooldown, partly because I'm very used to it, partly because I simply think it's better
I might give Bedrock a try if they add cooldown to the pvp

SO yeah while it is unlikely well be getting cooldowns its a possibilities

I don't play PvP much on Java servers (players are generally too strong for me to stand a chance, and I don't play PvP on Java to begin with), but if it reduces the differences compared to Java, I think it's a good change :)

(This is a bit off-topic, but CC generally supports multiple versions of Minecraft. This means differences may have between of pvp superiority the old client and the new client...)

there is a decent chance this change eventually happens, but the source youre linking is entirely ai-generated. (archvix) and the fandom doesnt appear to say anything about changing bedrock combat, only java.

Would suck severely for Bedrock servers. A lot of things would change with both players and communities like Speedrunning. Over on speedrun me and the other CubeCraft Speedrunning staff (Not cc staff but volunteers for CubeCraft speedrunning) would have to add a THIRD version of the different things. It had already needed to change once when 1.19 came out on CubeCraft a few years ago. And would also put a severe disadvantage for mobile players (possibly some controller players) because it's much more difficult to time hits on other platforms that aren't PC. Bedrock should stay the way it is. Bedrock deserves to be different from Java and shouldn't become a copy of it.

I think it’s too early to judge before we actually try it. Making Bedrock closer to Java could bring more strategy and balance, but Bedrock’s fast-paced style is also important so idk..

its a cool idea but we should be able to choose the style of pvp like downgrading on java to play with old pvp instead of playing with the cooldown pvp

I've been playing with no cooldown for 5 years and Im used to it, and cooldowns would mess up my muscle memory and stuff. I like the cooldown idea but its also a bad idea in my opinion.

Java players are decent, but with a lot of practise it’s not impossible :)

I prefer the Bedrock combat system, so I hope they don't change it to the Java combat system.

Honestly, if they do and cube update it, imma be fr that I probably won't play bedrock ever again. Ever since updated to jdk Mojang have made cube (and entire of bedrock matter of factly) unplayable.
