Donators who donated before EULA keep perks.

    I remember in the EULA that it said if you donated before it began, you can keep perks. If you have proof this was changed, post it and close this thread. Nuff said.

    However, if this is true, then I have a suggestion: Keep perks of the current ranks and add a new rank for donating with no gameplay changing elements. These current ranks can still be won on leaderboards and compititions, and that would be the only way to get them. So, what do you think?

    Well, I can't find the thread that the proper link was in. It might have been deleted. Anyway, I can't find proof, unless a mod/admin knows otherwise, close request.

    Yes. It's relatively cheap and has it's benefits, regardless of the EULA.

    How should servers deal with users who have already spent hard currency on features that affect gameplay?
    Users may keep the perks they’ve paid for on the condition that the same perks are available to other players on the server (directly or purchasable using soft currency). It’s up to the server host to decide how to compensate users for previous transactions.

    So, what you're saying is that players could, for example, keep their world edit on the terms that others could buy it with points or something..?

    That's correct. I suggest we charge 999999999999999999999 points for each worldedit command :3 (No not really)

    Well, this isn't actually a bad idea... Only donors could then use it, and it would be a loophole in the EULA, seeing as no non-donor could ever afford it... >:D

    This post is rather dumb... it's not up to CCG to keep or loose things it's up to Mojang so this thread has like no purpose.
