Java Change blockwars spawn area to 3x3 instead of 5x5

Hi everyone, I want to suggest a change to blockwars bridges. At the moment the spawn area is 5x5 blocks (I mean the area where you can't place blocks). But I hate it as you can't get to the pit after there is placed 1 row of blocks. Please change it to 3x3 because it's really annoying imo.

Shouldn’t they move it 1 block away then from the pit? Changing it from 5x5 to 3x3 might give complications, idk.

I don't see how it will create complications?

I completely agree, I've played a lot this gamemode and believe me it's too annoying, it doesn't let you place blocks next to the score zone and most of the times produces lagback.
Since it is very close to the scoring zone, a 3x3 at the spawn zone would be a very good solution :)
