1.9 Snapshots Laggy

Well, 1.9 snapshots are getting laggy for me*.

You know what doesn't lag though? Other versions (e.g. 1.8) as long as I don't use resource packs*.
Is anyone else having this problem? Is there a way to fix this?


*These things used to not be laggy at all, then suddenly, they were. They didn't start gradually get laggy, the just did.

You understand that "snapshots" are unstable versions correct? they will lag and bug out. Just saying that they have been fine with me but the last snapshot fixed the "lag" bug.

Mojang wouldn't develop snapshots and minecraft versions to need optifine. They wouldn't create a game to lag.

my MC crashed when i generate a new/old world in snapshot/pre release.

Yes, they improved performance on 1.9

In the new pre release you cant start flying with the glider its hard. Mojang changed it so you start gliding mid fall

Good luck trying to get the glider, you need to get to the end and fight the dragon to open the new portal to the end cities and then fight Shulkers to get to the end ship to get the glider in the item frame. Fun ;)

How to get elytra.
1. Be in a single player world or a server where u have OP
2. Do /give @p minecraft:elytra
3. Enjoy ;)
