It's really annoying when you are beating someone and they go to a group to 7v1 you. I suggest a system where when someone hits you, both of you will be locked together and no one can hit besides you, like the /kill command, that you need to wait seconds to do it. After 30 seconds when you stop hitting each other, you are free and can hit another person and you guys battle. Maybe that isn't the best idea because there could be campers that just shoot you and locks you but something that stops 2v1 or 3v1 will really help.

Maybe adding effects each kill should help too like strength and regeneration

I disagree, this is not needed under my point of view as it would completely change pvp. Just report teamers by clicking here if you play on bedrock, if you also play on Java use /report command if you have a paid rank or report by clicking here in the Java reports website and attach a recording as evidence for your report.
