Bedrock Timed Border for island in EggWars

I have a suggestion that would help alot in Eggwars with all stuff going on like auto clickers .
My idea is that setting up a timer when a game starts , about 3-5 minutes maximum , the timer goal is to prevent people from attacking the islands , it will make a border for every island , every team can’t enter the other team’s islands until the timer goes off . So its just a border around each team island .

This will help making the match more competitve when theres no one when the game starts just goes straight to any team and just ruin the match or use auto clicker , this will help each team to fortify their own island before any cheater ruin the game .

In general it will make the games longer and more enjoyable i really hope u take my idea seriously because im really furious about people just breaking eggs and using auto clickers before we can do anything to ourselves and our islands .

I don't think that's a good idea.
As member of the Egg Wars community since 2020, there are cases in which it gets in the way. Firstly, grinders. Some people grind leaderboard wins. If this is added it would cement the current leaderboard players for good and discourage faster ones who might want to replace them since 90 000 wins in egg wars teams of 4 with 3-5 minutes no attacks per round would make many games last very long and would mean no mew faces would climb the leaderboard. Secondly, speedrunning world records will also be cemented since the current ones are under 3-5 minutes making another community go inactive. Thirdly, it would make snipes (the continuation of scrims aka competitive 4v4 or 4v4v4 or 4v4v4v4 egg wars games) unplayable since it would be incredibly slow.

I am guessing your inspiration came from CTF but even there it isn't that long before the wall drops.

Maybe u are right but thats exactly the problem for me , speedrunning and chasing fast records . I cant enjoy any game because of this problem Specially when the class is OP .


I think EggWars is meant to be fully focusing on the egg , so if they would like a PVP and fast game they can just play skywars or something similar . Those leaderboard grinders represent just a small percentage comparing to most players . Also another thing is that Bedrock is a crossplatform server which means you are playing against mobile players and console players , which PC players have an advantage over them ik its not neccessary but in general its .

I got your point and its actully right , but since i am cubecraft an eggwars player since god knows when , i believe that people have changed . They were playing perfect no auto no record chasing , and then auto started showing up , people started focusing on PVP and the result is unplayable game . So my suggestion goal is to prevent all that and bring the old days , i dont say its better but it would help alot in changing players behaviour .

Well fair. But it doesn't prevent auto clickers really. Like they can wait 3-5 minutes amd continue doing it xd. I myself also used to think Egg Wars should be slower of a mode but overtime as I saw I had less and less time I opted for faster pace and figured put it's still very fun
