Global chat?

How can i use global chat in team modes(eggwars,skywarsa etc.) while i am not dead? Whenever i type it chat is says [Team]. Does that mean only my team can see the message? Or is it visible to all? If its not visible to all, Please tell me a command to change my chat settings in-game, because i have seen many people talk in gc while playing.

You can talk in global chat if you put a ! before your sentence, so “Hi, how are you doing?” would get sent in global and “!Hi, how you doing” would get send in global chat.

This is what you need to do to be able to speak in global chat.^
To answer your second question, only your team is able to read your team chat. Each team has their own chat to discuss their tactics in the game, and global chat is seen by all players of the game.
