You can swim up the waterfall faster by moving from right to left while sprinting and looking up

in 1.13+ you can swim much faster then 1.12 or below, that is wat we are talking about not swining from left to right

Swining from left to right makes me faster while swiming up the waterfall.

But i did not post the tread, put just play 1.12 and 1.13 and then you can see the difference in the swimming speed

personally on non competitive games i play on 1.14 but when i am doing skywars or eggwars or whatnot i go 1.12 so i dont have this advantage, i completely agree with you!

Hello hello, some of you have probably been using a lower version than the others when you have been playing the game, for example, I was playing Solo Survival games and then I found someone and I started to attack the player, they found water and started to swim away really fast (they were using 1.13 or a higher version) so I lost them. This is an unfair advantage!

So I am suggesting to disable this advantage for 1.13+ users!

Sprint-swimming allows the player to move at around 5.612 meters/second, which is 30 percent faster than the normal walking speed of around 4.317 m/s. The player can turn while sprint-swimming at a slightly reduced speed.

I see your point of view, But I don't think this could be a good idea, some people be having problems with different versions when they start the Launcher.

I completely agree! I do have to say I’ve never seen anyone do that..? But if it’s there, please remove it! I don’t want to leave the best Minecraft version (1.12.2). Because player can swim faster than me...

Rubik replied to the unfair advantage swimming issue:
```Disabling swimming is really difficult, because it’s all done client side, so we have no control over that movement. If we send out a metadata it’ll stop them swimming, but it as a result causes them to start swimming and stop swimming. It’s doable to some level, but really difficult to patch.```
