My friends' account got hacked (Need clarification)

So yeah as the title says, my friends' MC account got hacked and has been taken over;

So the question here is, is there any way to "reclaim" his account? We already thought of sending Mojang an e-mail with the transaction ID and such, but I want some more clarification.

The transaction ID do you have? You can make a formular with the transaction ID, they will send you a mail and if all is oke, they will give him(s) account back

You should talk with a Staff Member about this... To timely ban their account before the Hackers does bad Stuff with it....

I recommend contacting Mojang with your transaction ID and they will deal with the problem. Also, you can contact a staff member in Cubecraft regarding your problem and they can ban your friend's account.

I am sorry for the troublesome that your friend has encountered! And hopefully, he / she can get it back soon!

Yeah, they should have sent your friend an email with the Transaction ID, but thing is, why would this girl (CheeseLoverMC) take over your friend's account? She makes anime on twitter, how could she possibly hack an account? My guess would be a site like MCLeaks leaked the profile info from the profile servers, and she, this girl, looked for a premium account on one of these websites.
