This is not true. In BlockWars CTF or Bridges, you get XP for capturing a flag, returning a flag or scoring in a pit. Capturing a flag gives 50 xp alone (correct me if I'm wrong on this) and by capturing 3 flags, that's already 150 xp + the calculated one (ranges from 30 and higher depending on the length of the game etc) and can easily get 200 xp from a single game. I don't play Bridges too much to know how much XP you receive for each pit capture, so I will not be adding much on it as I only play CTF.
The MVP system is very RNG. A lot of the times, the person who gets it is someone who only spends the entire time killing players with zero flag captures or any attempts. There's no public information out there that explains how the MVP is chosen but in BlockWars, its complete luck. Not to mention, a lot of the time the MVP for the losing team sometimes does not even show up or the team does not get one, even though this never used to be a thing in the past.
Giving extra XP for just getting MVP is already more than what the gamemode already gives and could potentionally be the most (behind the Mega gamemodes) a smaller gamemode has given. I'm not against how the XP is rewarded currently as it's mostly based on how much you've contributed to the game (by getting flag captures, returning your flag and winning the game). But awarding for RNG would not be fair or complete overkill for just a game that lasts less than 10 mins total time. (imo)
Heyy sorry for the ridiculously late reply I forgot about this thread.
I will go through your points one by one..

That's correct, sorry for the misunderstanding what I meant in the original post was, to simplify, MVP's get no extra xp. It just seems a bit silly and annoying to me as if you put in all this work, you don't get am extra 50 for working the hardest.

While this is correct and a very good point, brdiges is sooo much different. An average brdiges game would range from 3 minutes to 6 minutes, giving 5 xp for a score and 30-45 for a win. The average pit entries i get in a brdiges game is 7 to 13. So basically 4 minutes for 60- 90 xp. I think an extra 30- 50 xp could really go a long ways in that situation. For CTF you have a good point, but I'm rarely getting 3 flag captures in one game. Now you would definitely know more about CTF than me, but whenever I play it either get a quick game with one or 2 flags, or a long, dragged out game. Maybe making it give more xp for bridges MVP or something could be more reasonable.

That's my point. If you are a defender in either of these games and you get 10+ kills, you still only recieve 30-50 for the win.

I wouldn't say complete luck. If you do nothing all game you ain't getting MVP, where as 12 pit entries, or many kills, or 3 flag captures would get you MVP. I would agree I don't think there is a very stable system for it, but that could be tweaked to be more reliable.
Not to mention, a lot of the time the MVP for the losing team sometimes does not even show up or the team does not get one, even though this never used to be a thing in the past.
Never really seen that before, might just be a CTF thing.

As I already said this is definitely not true for Bridges games, CTF could be different but then again things could be tweaked.

So youre saying for games that could last 6 minutes.... an extra 30 xp isn't good?? You make strong points about CTF, but I really don't see getting 3 flags in one game being consistent. To be honest this suggestion was really out of spite with how useless the MVP system is.
Thanks for responding
