Is it possible tell people I've been muted?

So, I was muted a couple days ago and completely understand the reason. I fully plan to sit through the punishment and learn from my mistakes. The only thing bothering me right now though is that I can't tell anything to my ingame friends and feel really bad when they say something to me but I can't respond. So I was wondering if it was possible to tell them about my mute ingame or if they can somehow see it. I'd like to know of a way before I make anyone feel down from my own actions.

It is possible by placing signs in-game explaining the situation, but I don't think you're allowed to do that as it could be considered bypassing.

There should just be a feature where if someone mentions your in-game name in chat, they receive a red "[username] is currently muted." or something along those lines.

You can always message them on Discord or any other other communication programm.

I'm currently unable to do so, that's why I said "ingame".

If you're friends are using labymod, you can message them through labychat. Otherwise there are no legal ways to message them, like Riley said.

As mentioned above, there's no way for you to tell your friends that you're muted around Cubecraft. You're able to message them on Discord or another communication app.
