Double Income causes huge latency at times. Am I the only one experiencing this?

Sometimes when I play double income Tower Defense, I experience severe communications issues between the client and the server late game, when there are a ton of defenses placed. This is not due to bad wifi. This does not happen anywhere else on the server. Relogging fixes all issues.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Addendum: can happen in any tower defense mode, but it's just more common in double income.

I have a simular problem. I have that issue because of my very low fps (sometimes I have 1 fps in tower defence). If it isn't your fps, I dont know what it could be.

The problem lays in the enormous amount of particles and other things that Minecraft has to progress. The normal income there are fewer towers, less of everything in fact. I don't know how to fix it completely. But you can use optifine to turn particles on and off. Cubecraft has also implemented a feature in TD where you can minimize your particles. This can be done trough the settings options: far right in your hotbar. (blaze powder if I'm not mistaken)

Not FPS. Appears to be some sort of communications issue between the client/server.
