Java Bring Back Solo EggWars

Look, just do, alright? Since I ain't playing anymore, I might join a few times, but wanting to play my favorite game, getting into a team lobby and seeing 4 Max Ranked Players 200+ level while I am alone. I am not saying that it is bad, I am happy for the guys, but sometimes you really need to experience playing normally and normalize being able to play without thinking how 4 guys are going to rush you with iron while YOUR guys are still on the egg defense. At this point it is more normalized the obsidian guys to come to me from the middle instead of my team actually going to the middle.

This is not a critique, do not remove my post, it is a suggestion, you could add 2-3-4 maps, just please, winter is coming, let's bring back the old cubecraft for a moment. Many things changed with the server, I might say none of them is good, the only good thing that happened was the Disasters game, which got removed, of course. SO, think about it, consider it, just let us normal players without friends have our moments and enjoy one good minecraft game once again. Like the guy with that wanted Tower Defence back... Totally support it. I have more things to say, but I do have respect for the server anyway, so I would really appreciate if you at least consider something like this.

YES! I'd also love to see Solo Eggwars return to the server! Just a great gamemode for when you're alone. I think games would fill up fast enough nowadays, especially if the maps are reduced in size, meaning less players in each map. Totally agree with you!

I'm speaking as a Bedrock player but I agree with bringing back Solo EggWars on Java. I used to play it and it was fun, especially since most maps in it aren't on Bedrock

I would like to see Solo Eggwars return once again, but I highly doubt it will happen any time soon. Solo Eggwars used to be the least played gamemode in the entire server before they removed half of the gamemodes. The situation was so bad actually, that just before it got removed it had basically zero players during the inactive hours. Will this be a problem now? No, because there are overall less gamemodes to play now. But I would imagine that Cubecraft wanted to add more popular gamemodes back before they can add the least favourites back. For example Team Lucky Islands was far more popular than Solo Eggwars, yet they still decided to just keep that gamemode as limited time for few weeks only, even though it did really good (way better than Solo Eggwars ever would). So if that gamemode wasn't popular enough for Cubecraft to keep in the server, I doubt they will ever do the same with Solo Eggwars.

Good point. But yet I still think games would fill up faster nowadays than before, especially if the games are made smaller so that it takes less people to start a game. I also think solo Eggwars would be a popular game although I might be biased because I like it a lot.

They for sure do fill up faster now. They released Team LI like bit over a year ago as limited time gamemode, but it didn't stay for whatever reason even though it had like 80 players playing all the time. My theory is that Cubecraft wants to focus on adding new gamemodes more than adding old gamemodes back. Reason probably being that we old players are slowly leaving the server, and at the same time new younger players join and see what the server is like. And these newer players most likely like other games more than the old ones, due to them not having any bias/nostalgia from the games we used to play when we were younger. Pillars of Fortune is perfect example about that. Similar concept was trending on Youtube Shorts 1-2 years ago by Youtuber named CheapPickle. They were standing on bedrock pillars, getting items every few seconds and the last one standing was the winner. These videos got millions of views, and it's not a convenience that Cubecraft released Pillars of Fortune just few months later. Safe to say it worked, since Pillars of Fortune was and still is probably the most popular gamemode on the entire server.

I do understand what you are trying to say and I agree with you. However, Pillars of Fortune at least for me is play a few games and get bored, it does the job, it could make you say "WOW, never seen this before". Pillars is the one game where you could play normally, without seeing the sweats, because they are in Team EggWars and in BedWars. You see? We all like this, because the sweats are away from it at this point, that is exactly why I want Solo EggWars, there will be sweats, but they will not stack on us 4v1 in full sets... I do not see myself how CubeCraft made good choice in the past 2 years except Pillars as you said, and Disasters (Which I am deeply disappointed since the summer because of it's removal). Don't forget Solo Lucky Islands, which isn't sweaty at all in my opinion, but yeah I get what you mean. But Solo Eggwars probably isn't even close of being their number 1 priority at the moment, and I doubt it will in a while even if Eggwars is the signature game since 2015 (due to it not being the fan favourite in the past either). One gamemode I do think they should add though is Minerware. I am surprised how they haven't added that gamemode back yet, since it is really unique, fun and probably the least sweaty gamemode there is.

You have a very good point here. However, they are og games for a reason, they are just really good. I think that this outweighs the fact that newer players don't have any nostalgia with them.

The skill-level nowadays is much higher compared to a couple of years ago. Not surpising, players have had more time to practise. I can fully understand how this can be frustrating and demotivating for certain players. Perhaps being able to play solo games would be more enjoyable, which is in the end what we want to accomplish. Everyone should have a good time.

One gamemode I do think they should add though is Minerware.

And yes Minerware would be a good option for a solo game aswell, just the feeling of winning a single minigame always made me so happy!

I miss Solo Egg Wars! So many memories, and so many amazing maps going to waste. I think it would get plenty of players and wouldn’t be very difficult to bring back. Although sadly with how Cube is nowadays, I’m almost certain they won’t do it. :|
