All Networks Bring back 7-days sentinel bans

I'm a tad bit new, could someone explain Sentinel? Does it automatically ban people..?

Its cubecrafts anticheat, which also autobans. And it doesnt really do a good job at it. I see so many false bans in the #staff-help channel on discord its ridiculous.

1. If sentinel was actually good, there shouldnt be like 2-5 false bans a day
2. How would shorter bans increase the amount of appeals
3. People dont get banned more often, they get banned for a lesser amount of time

I mean while of course 0 total false bans is the goal, 2-5 a day is extremely small compared to the amount of correct bans, so it wouldn't really be fair to call sentinel not even "good" for that. For the last two points there having the 7 day ban back would add a third ban to the track, not including accepted appeals. That would absolutely just by math increase the amount of total bans, and the amount of appeals for those bans.

Also just to throw a point out there, a ton of the people who talk in Discord about being false banned are not in fact falsely banned.

Not sure for java, but on bedrock they announce players banned by sentinel in the last 24 hours, and it is consistently 1-2k

Hi it's me again, but this time with an actually good suggestion(i hope)
So I've seen a lot of people getting false banned in the staff help channel on discord so this idea came up in @Matriox' and my head. Reducing Sentinel bans back to 7 days would reduce stress and frustration for those who got false banned. This can cause better appeals that can get accepted better too. And even if an appeal gets denied, it's only 7 days. I hope this makes sense, have a great day.

2-5 a day is not true, most people won't even bother come on discord or go on the website to appeal
