You get a message in the chat 10 minutes before the restet. Also at the 5, 3, 2 and 1 minute mark. I feel like that's enough notice. An extra timer is totally unnecessary in my opinion.

Good idea, will probably also prevent a lot of false bans. It likely has other advantages aswell. Not make it obligated right ? But management will rather invest their time in game development than in anti-cheat things. I don't see them do this. We can hope though.

Yooo cool idea. It shouldn't be hard to capture an egg. With your limitations it makes it only harder. I think it would be more fun if there'd be a lot of captures. The ender purge is a good idea. If you capture an egg where does it go ? Just stack into your other egg(s) ?

I'm quite sure this is a glitch. I have it aswell. The resource pack isn't meant to just deinstall by itself. In my case when I try to install it again, it even says I already have it, which is clearly not the case. I have to switch lobbies to fix it. So you could make a bug report.

The games you mentioned mostly only use basic minecraft mechanics. The building aspect in battle zone is something totally new, I don't find it easy to learn. And it's not that it would do anything bad to the gameplay, so why not ? I bet a lot of players would make use of this.

Love it ! I see possible abuse though, if you just party up with your alt (or friend) and go in competitive, you can farm wins to get on the leaderboards. Do wins when in party count ? If so, they shouldn't .
