Hello, everyone! We've recently updated our rules to be clearer and more fair. The new rules can be found here: https://cbecrft.net/rules.

For those of you already familiar with the old rules, here's a small change log of what's been added, removed, or edited:
  • Warnings are now only required for first-time offenders.
  • Punishments for multiple pre-existing infractions have been changed for neatness and consistency.
  • Chat trolling is now punishable with a mute.
  • Targeted chat offenses are now classified as either swearing or threats.
  • Advertising of any kind is now prohibited, including YouTube/Twitch advertisement.
Please review the rules and enjoy your time on our server!

If someone were to swear, would you have to give a warning? In the screenshot if not it would be a closed report?

I've seen some staff members say that chat rules apply to all forms of chat (e.g party), some staff members are not sure, and some say the rules don't apply to party chat.

Do all of the rules apply to every chat?

tbh, I think they do, even if you are allowed to say a swear rude ( I don't know, never tried it) staff members can mute you or give you a warning in IG or in the forums.

Good questions, okay. If someone is swearing we take the 'swearing' punishment track. (Punishment track: Warning → 3 day mute → 7 day mute → 30 day mute → Permanent mute).
As you can see, a warning is required first. If you were to report a screenshot where you clearly warned the person we would skip the first step and jump right to the mute. If you couldn't warn the person for any reason, we will do the warning for you can give him an official warning.

In both cases the report would get accepted.

So if I report someone without a warning, but got a warning before, would you give him a straight mute?

So, if someone sends hackusations towards you, and you go with it does it mean that it's bannable?
I'm a bit confused by your question as it says 'is now punishable with a mute' and you are saying 'does it mean that it's bannable?'
But lets assume you meant muteable. No, saying 'i'm hacking' or anything in those lines isn't muteable - with chat trolling we mean stuff like 'press alt f4 for free rank'.

Oops, sorry for saying bannable. I did mean muteable. Thanks for clearing that up, since I've done that on multiple occasions.

Why the rule change where you can not advertise your youtube/twitch channel? I know that I for one streamed on cubecraft a lot because I could lightly advertise my channel. Most other servers don't let you advertise, with the exception of Mineplex. To me it just seems like cubecraft now doesn't want to see its players channels grow. I think a lot of the small youtubers/streamers are now going to play on Mineplex or a different server that allows light advertisements so that they can get more viewers and have their channel grow. Just my opinion, what does everyone else think?
