Is trucing bannable

I have played with many friends in egg wars before, sometimes we end up on different teams and the keep telling me to cross team I tell them it's bannable but they say we won't be full on teaming we just don't kill each other that's it, I told them I didn't want to take the risk getting banned so I wanted to ask you if it was bannable before doing anything.

If 2 teams decide to go against another team, but not harming each other/not going after each other intentionally, it is considered Cross-Teaming.

there wrong and yes it is bannable it is teaming but another term so pls read the serverrules here.
