Sometimes me and my friends play Eggwars Private Games and we want to do random teams but we can never do a random 4v4. For example, if we are 8 players and choose random teams the game will automatically put us into four teams resulting in 2v2v2v2 in a 4v4v4v4 map. The only way to get around this is to skip random teams entirely and just choose them manually, but that takes away from the whole purpose of using random teams.
-> I suggest adding an option that lets you choose how many teams the players should be split into when using random teams.
It would make it possible to do a random 4v4 or other custom setups.
For example:
2 teams -> 4v4 with 8 players
3 teams -> 3v3v3 with 9 players
4 teams -> 2v2v2v2 with 8 players
The players would then be randomly distributed between the selected number of teams.
This would be as simple as just adding a button where you can choose the number of teams (for example 2/3/4) and it would only apply when choosing to play with random teams.
Additional suggestion: For 4v4, I also suggest having the two teams spawn opposite each other, as this is often preferred when playing 4v4.
