Since Egg Wars abilities have been "Coming soon..." for well over a year, I thought I would just post some suggestions for what I think the abilities should be.
I did take inspiration from Sky wars abilities as they are relatively similar games.
1st Ability - Punch Back : Arrows have a small chance to do additional knockback to a target. This would work great against Antiknockback hackers with the new anti-cheat. However the bow must be charged all the way back for it to work. This should stop bow spammers.
2nd Ability - Armour Stealer - I wasn't sure about this but I guess it could work for OP mode. Each time you hit an enemy you have a small chance of regenerating some armour durability. Not sure if the scaling would affect the percentage or the amount of armour gained but I like this.
3rd Ability - Chicken Wing's (Similar to sky war's feather weight) - Essentially it's a percentage to talk less fall damage.
4th Ability - Hey stop that! (I wasn't sure what to call this) - If you hit an enemy with an axe, they have a small chance to gain mining fatigue. Again I wasn't sure but I thought this could be a way of people stopping others from breaking their eggs.
5th Ability - Greedy - Every time you eat food, you have a small percentage to gain saturation for a small time. I think this would be amazing in Hardcore mode.
6th Ability - Magic Blocks - Very small percentage to not consume a block when it is placed. This way people don't rely on it, but it can useful if it happens. For example a random extra piece of obsidian, or that one extra block you need to make a bridge. Would have to be really small percentage though.
So this is purely my opinion and I would be really grateful for any feedback or ideas. Egg Wars is my favourite game and I want the abilities to be useful but not game changing.

The next Eggwars Update should see the release of new maps and abilities.

1. This makes the punch now completely useless.
2. I like the idea a lot. It encourages PvP rather decently. :
3. I like the idea. +1
4. This would be a big pain for players in 1.9. If they're using a diamond axe, it would take a long time for it to charge back up.
5. I like this idea, again it encourages PvP.
6. I don't really like this idea. Blocks are meant to be bought, and if this is implemented, then some strategies are cut off, such as the hope that someone's blocks run out. :P

I dont think mining fatique affects weapon cooldown you just mine blocks slower

Sorry to say, but I hate most of them ;(

1. No, not more punch knockers, btw, it won't help against nokb hackers, because they have nokb. (obviously?)
2. Let's start the gitterclick! I don't like this because it already takes ages to kill someone in OP mode, with regenerating armor this would be the worst.
3. Yeah this could maybe be a thing.
4. It would make axes too OP, especially since it makes your weapon recharge.
Its only with mining.
In 1.9 it also slows the weapon recharge, test it if you want to.
5. Ehhm.. You already get saturation from eating food, I don't get your point.
6. This could also be a thing, maybe.

It still makes axes too OP though.... Why only to axes and not to swords?
Hmm I guess but eggwars in 1.9 does have a focus on axe pvp imo its the only good place to get any axe practice :P if it worked for swords the ability would happen twice as often so i assume thats the reason. Especially with punching a player while they are trying to break your egg this could be annoying

By the way, you just proved yourself why this is bad.

Nah try using axes in op it breaks armor faster than the pickaxe method and actually deals damage through the armor :P Also combined with the debuffer kit axes are op if you know how to use them :P

And I proved why it would be bad if it was for more than axes :P

Swords are 1. Cheaper 2. Faster 3. Do more damage (yes they do if you take into account cooldown time) 4. More flexible to use 5. Just better period :P I've tried both and swords are way better :D

Also to break armor in OP I just spam them with my steak hehehehehe

Thereby making axes too OP why this is bad :P

Not particuarly, I've seen it that some players often won't fall off a 1 block-wide bridge with a punch bw, not just down to anti-knockback but players can also reduce knockback. For example only setting it to 50% therefore making punch just like a regular bow. I would think that if it had a low chance it would just be luck to kill someone like this from too far but also discourages anti knockback as for example. The anitcheat would detect anti knockback a lot better if the player was hit with Punch 2 instead of punch 1.
