Why is everyone saying teaming is bannable?

Okay, so about 75% of the people me and my cousin play Hunger Games with when we team they say that teaming is bannable and they are rec? I mean, I know the rules and stuff but did something happen that is making all these people feel it is required to tell us that it's bannable?

It's bannable on other big servers. People are too lazy to read our rules and assume they're the same for all servers.
