I think wooden doors, fences, and slabs should be added. There could be a server resource pack like there is for Lucky Islands so they can still be color-coded like the clay blocks.

I don't know about this. I think the blocks that we currently have are just fine as is.
Whats wrong with the solid blocks? In the original game on the Chunk the blocks were solid, and I personally think the original is the best right?
It's hard for me to tell if the game would be more entertaining if there were more kind of blocks. Because with more blocks, it could in a way be harder to play since doors and fences are wooden and with only a pickaxe those kind of blocks would be harder to break, but maybe it could also make the game more exciting, it's hard to tell... I do realize that it would create an opportunity to make even more kits(for example a kit with an axe), which could be positive for the game, but it could also affect the game in a negative way. In one way it's also good to keep the game simple. Because it would be easier for new players to understand how to play the game(sort of as it is today). :)

However, as the old Chunk-player I am, I do prefer BlockWars as it is/was(at least when it comes to what kind of blocks featured in the game). :3

-1 Some people's computer (Like mine) can't handle some resource packs and they will start lagging. And I like the game the way it is atm. :)
A simple resource pack that only changes the color of 6 blocks is not likely to make you lag. And I think most people know to use axes on wooden stuff. Anyway, it's not like you have to use every block. Here are some things you can do with the new blocks:
*Fences: You can just place one layer on the ground instead of doubling them up (or without leaving the bottom layer missing).
*Slabs: You can make smaller shooting holes for archers.
*Doors: Protect yourself from arrows by closing it, or open it and quickly run for cover. The extra time you save by simply opening and closing the door can make a difference!

In my opinion, Blockwars is great because it is a simple and short game, very easy and quick to play. (instead of some eggwars games that sometimes last up to more than 2 hours)
Yeah an EggWars game does take long. But 10/10 BlockWars games i played ended in a tie. Thats not so fun...
