Java What happened to 1.8?

Honestly, I miss 1.8 games, they were definitely better than 1.9 games. From what I see is that 1.9 - 1.12 is taking over! I feel most people that are pvpers such as myself miss 1.8 minigames. If you agree please add a response! We need to do something about this!

A vast chunk of CubeCraft’s playercount play for the 1.9 gameplay. You can still play BlockWars, SkyWars and EggWars in 1.8 by joining CubeCraft in a 1.8 version.

Still, what about those people who don't play 1.9? I feel like at least people should be able to play Skywars in 1.8, didn't they used to have 1.8 Skywars?

As I just said, you can play 1.8 SkyWars by joining the server on a 1.8 version.
