Is Copper Armour Missing to Blind Luck?
Yes, there was a missing gear in the Blind Luck which is Copper. You get random armour from Leather being the weakest to Netherite being the strongest. You get Leather, Gold, Chain, Iron, Diamond, and Netherite. What’s missing is the Copper Armour. The server is currently in the native Minecraft version. CubeCraft always updates to the latest version of Minecraft if it’s still supported.
How powerful is the Copper Armour?
Full Copper Armour provides 10 armour points. Gold is 11 armour points. Leather is 7 armour points. Copper is better than Leather and is worse than Gold. Should we implement Copper Armour to Blind Luck in Free For All? Is it worth it or not worth it?
Forgot to mention that damage indicators were having lots of decimal points.
This has been changed after a couple of weeks. Damage indicators with too many decimal points causes health problems as health and damage are stored as Float. They weren’t stored as Double. Dealing 0.21 damage can cause a problem with 1v1 fist fights. A noticeable health issue that gets several decimal points like the 0.0000001 and 9.9999999 at the end. This is now being fixed. Less decimal points means that we get better visibility and helps decrease distractions on combat. Floating damage with several decimal points is reducing visibility and making it harder to see what you’re expecting.
How stable is 32-bit and 64-bit floating points and the performance of Float and Double?
Float is a 32-bit floating point and has 7-8 decimal points. Double is a 64-bit floating point and has 16-17 decimal points. 32-bit doesn’t impact too much performance and stability, but 64-bit does impact a lot of performance and stability. An impact of performance causes lag, instability, and game crashes if your PC isn’t too beefy enough to run modern games and apps.
