For me and some of my friends the islands are a bit to close to mid, but in the end i don't think its that to much of a problem.
Also about the new blocks. Please tone down the glazed terracotta, especially on the floor where the diamond generator is. It is just simply to much. Break it up with some quartz or concrete or something. Take the dome for example. It has the glazed terracotta, but also has quartz. Just having glazed terracotta hurts to look at.
