Yeah, this debate isn't really about "ethics", but whatever.
Today's question is simple: should the US start using the metric system (or SI), for measurement rather than the imperial system like other countries?

Down below, state your opinion, and why.

Stuff to think about.

Yes, because...
99% of the world uses it.
Don't have to memorize conversion values (hey, did y'all know that 1 mi = 5280 ft?).
Easier conversions.
Loss of $$$ in case of conversion errors.
Standard of science and medicine.
Easier to memorize names (-kilo means thousand, so therefore 1 kilometer = 1000 meters).

Alright, I have all the data for the forum statistics and curiosities thread, it took me multiple days to get it! The current program I'm using has a processing time of almost 23 hours! Had to use two computers to cut it down to 11.5 hours haha
