Yeah, this debate isn't really about "ethics", but whatever.

Today's question is simple: should the US start using the metric system (or SI), for measurement rather than the imperial system like other countries?

Down below, state your opinion, and why.

Stuff to think about.

Spoiler: My opinion

Yes, because...
99% of the world uses it.
Don't have to memorize conversion values (hey, did y'all know that 1 mi = 5280 ft?).
Easier conversions.
Loss of $$$ in case of conversion errors.
Standard of science and medicine.
Easier to memorize names (-kilo means thousand, so therefore 1 kilometer = 1000 meters).

Not really an ethical debate :P but maybe every1 should just use a base 12 number system so that a foot makes sense :P The US should use the metric system but we like to be special :D

U.S. should just go to metric, it would be easier so we don't look like idiots guessing what certain feet and inches convert to.
